Junior Equipment Engineer - Amgen - Dublin



Employer

Our Client is Amgen and the role will be based in their Dun Laoghaire plant. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.



Job Description



The Equipment Engineer (Junior) reports to the Principal Engineer PM2 and is responsible for support of all equipment and projects associated with vial washing/filling and capping as prioritised by the Line Owner and Bosch work centre team. 

Responsibilities include: • 

Continuous improvement programs for equipment reliability and availability (up to and including DiD). 

Works in collaboration with the System and Line owner to execute documentaiton and other updates related to CAPA's and change controls 

Monitors equipment performance and develop and maintain metrics in relation to equipment reliability. • 

Works in a collaborative manner with the Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians to ensure preventative maintenance program is effective and follow up on job plan/PM record updates. 

Works in a collaborative manner within the work centre structure and contributes to investigations, Cross Functional Investigations etc. • 

Responsible for safe working practices within their area and compliance with training requirements 



Requirements:



Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) 

Relevant Experience: • 

Typically 2+ years engineering experience in an aseptic pharmaceutical environment. • 

OR candidates with 1+ year engineering experience in the industry. 

OR candidates that previously worked in the industry in a technican role which also had some engineering responsibilities

Previous experience with MAXIMO and QMTS an advantage

Experience with sterilisation and lyophilisation is an advantage.


 
Package:

Minimum 18 month contract

Rate €25 - €35 per hour
