Human Resources Specialist - Amgen

Our Client is Amgen and the role will be based in their Dun Laoghaire plant. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.



Job Description:



The role is one of a Talent Expert, partnering with the functions, developing individual sourcing plans and building our knowledge of our industry both internally and externally. We are responsible for identifying, attracting and securing the very best talent in the industry. 

This role is responsible for the recruitment and selection of candidates for vacancies up to Senior Associate level in our Irish Manufacturing site based in Dun Laoghaire. The successful candidate ensures consistent and efficient execution of the processes in line with internal guidelines and manages the operational aspects of all Irish recruitment processes. 

Note: The role will be 30% Recruitment and 70% Operations/Administration 

The role reports into the Talent Acquisition Manager. 

Responsibilities include: 

Manage full end-to-end recruitment process (GCF Levels 1-4) 

Source candidates through appropriate recruitment channels, build relationships, build your internal/external networks and other recruitment channels to create and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future vacancies 

Responsible for creating reports on progress of the teams recruitment activities through Amgen's recruitment system 

Ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation including running background checks for all new hires 

Recommend and contribute ideas and improvements of recruiting practice, process improvements and staffing tools (best practices), in line with developments in local legislations. 

Provide Talent Acquisition process training to all Amgen managers and other staff members 



 

Requirements




Educated to Degree level (Degree in HR, Business or similar) 

Demonstrated experience in Internal Talent Acquisition & Operations, Recruitment Resource or HR Administration experience 

Confident communication skills and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels 

Good understanding of recruitment and selection processes and tools 

Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System 

Strong organization and time management skills. Must be able to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously to meet competing deadlines. 

MS Office Suite including PowerPoint , Excel, Word and Outlook at intermediate level 

Preferred: 

Direct Candidate sourcing experience 

Creation of tailored and innovative sourcing strategies 

Project coordination experience 

Working knowledge of SAP 

Working knowledge of SharePoint. 


 

Package:

6 month minimum contract

Rate: €25 - 30 per hour dependant on experience
