range of counselling services for people who are suicidal, engage in
self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta House also operate a

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Recruiter is responsible for providing effective support to the
organisation in the sourcing and selection of candidates for roles
within the Clinical, Fundraising and Support Functions Teams.
Reporting on the progress of recruitment and status of open roles to
the Executive and Management teams.
Maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring appropriate
coverage for all roles within the organisation via multiple
recruitment channels.

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION

* Draft and design, in conjunction with hiring managers, job
descriptions for new roles and review job descriptions for existing
roles in the organisation
* Draft and design recruitment adverts to suit the multiple
recruitment channels utilised for the purpose of advertising available
roles
* Receive and process approvals to hire for all new roles in the
organisation
* Maintain the recruitment section of the Pieta website, ensuring
all adverts are listed in an appropriate and timely manner and with
the aim of ensuring maximum coverage for key roles
* Select appropriate advertising or recruitment channels for various
roles as appropriate, ensuring to seek authorisation for any agency or
other spend incurred, maintaining this spend within agreed and
approved budgets
* Shortlist and screen candidates, working to agreed criteria for
the respective roles
* Liaise with hiring managers to shortlist candidates for interview,
participating in selection interviews where needed
* Make job offers to candidates, liaising with the hiring manager in
this process
* Participating in recruitment-related projects as necessary

RECRUITMENT REPORTING

* Work with the HR Administrator to complete weekly reporting in
relation to recruitment activity, dealing with queries which may arise
from the management team in relation to report content
* Complete ad-hoc reports as needed in relation to recruitment
activity for the management team and or sub-committees of the Board

SUPPLIER/UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE/ACCREDITING BODY RELATIONSHIPS

* Manage the relationship with the organisation?s recruitment
suppliers including LinkedIn and any relevant job boards
* Compile and maintain a preferred supplier listing (PSL) of
recruitment agencies, ensuring appropriate coverage for all role types
in the organisation. Review the suitability of this listing on an
annual basis
* Negotiate and agree terms with suppliers, ensuring finance
approval as necessary
* Maintain and continually develop a listing of careers advisors at
universities and colleges, ensuring opportunities within Pieta are
advertised in these locations. Develop relationships to allow open
communication between appropriate universities and the organisation
for the purposes of attracting suitably qualified applicants for
available roles and other opportunities including placements
* Maintain and develop relationships within the accrediting bodies
for the purposes of facilitating recruitment advertising and to build
the brand of Pieta as an employer to include but not limited to IACP,
IAHIP

EMPLOYER BRANDING

* Work to build a positive employer brand for Pieta through gathering
employee testimonials, encouraging the sharing of positive employee
experiences and using these to enhance the recruitment area of the
website etc.
* Liaising with the marketing team in relation to the production and
compilation of recruitment marketing materials and in relation to
recruitment advertising

SCREENING AND BACKGROUND CHECKING

* Provide cover for the HR Administrator in Garda vetting and
background checking during holiday time and providing additional cover
as needed

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
* Strong literacy and numeracy aptitude with excellent communication
ability, verbal and written
* Excellent IT skills: Word, Excel, Power point
* Experience in successfully recruiting roles up to senior levels
and across multiple disciplines
* Experience in building strong networks and connections in areas to
enhance links which are supportive of enhancing the employer brand and
gaining maximum exposure for Pieta roles
* Ability to work with change and a fast paced, growing work
environment
