This position is part time (9 hours per week). NOTE:?This post is not
an employment post. The therapist will be self-employed, will be paid
a fee per session, and will be responsible for paying his or her own
income tax.
Genesis is seeking a part-time play therapist to provide up to 9
play-therapy sessions per week. Genesis provides a service to
Tyrrelstown Educate Together, a local primary school and 4 of these
hours will take place there with the remaining taking place in
Genesis? centre.
CRITERIA:
* Hold a minimum level 8 or equivalent qualification in Psychotherapy
with specific additional clinical training working with children and
young people.
* Have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience practicing
Psychotherapy in a clinical setting.
* Be a fully qualified and accredited Child Psychotherapist/Play
Therapist/Art Therapist (ICP, IACP, IAPTP, PTIrl, PSI, FTAI or
equivalent).
* Experience of working with vulnerable children and child
protection legislation is essential.
* Attend Clinical Supervision regularly (in line with guidelines set
out by accrediting body).
* Be flexible.
* Have good English.
* Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills.
* Hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to own
transport.
* Have insurance cover.
RATES:

* ?**Apply on the website** per month for attending Clinical Line
Management.

(pro-rata, based on session hours delivered).
