GALWAY CITY PARTNERSHIP IS RECRUITING FOR TWO POSITIONS

Galway City Partnership, on behalf of the local Community Response
Forum and Galway City Council, is recruiting a Ukrainian Emergency
Response Project Leader and a Ukrainian Refugee Support Worker. Galway
City Partnership is a local and community development company working
in Galway City. We have been in existence since **Apply on the

UKRAINIAN EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROJECT LEADER: FULL TIME

The Ukrainian Emergency Response Project Leader primary role will be
responding to the needs of those fleeing the conflict in Ukraine, by
linking them into existing services. Working with an interpreter when
necessary, they will spend approximately half of their time focusing
on emergency response centres established in the City and responding
to identified needs therein; and the remainder of time will focus on
other accommodation places (hotels/B&Bs/host families/community
settings).Acting as the key focal point, the Ukrainian Emergency
Response Project Leader will ensure a regular presence onsite in the
hotels, linking in with local support agencies and volunteer
groups.They will work closely and collaboratively with key
stakeholders to ensure an effective implementation of the emergency
response programme. They will ensure they meet and follow
international best practice.

UKRAINIAN REFUGEE SUPPORT WORKER: **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS

The Ukrainian Refugee Support Worker will act as a support person for
Ukrainian refugees in the Galway City municipal area. They will
co-ordinate day to day activities and organise support and advice
systems, provide advice and guidance and accompany refugees for
translation purposes as required. They will work as part of the GCP
team to support clients into our complimentary services, training and
capacity building and refer clients to other relevant agencies as
necessary. Fluency in Ukrainian and English is essential for this
post.
