THE JOB: MEMBERSHIP OFFICER.

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the achievement
of our mission, which is to support and empower our members to provide
the highest quality Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare
services for children and their families in centres and
childminders? homes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated professional, with
the ability to work on their own initiative, to further enhance the
service we provide to our members. The successful candidate will have
experience working in a customer-focused environment in a position of
responsibility, with a focus on high performance, impact measurement
and achievement of strategic goals.? You will be able to demonstrate
a track record working in an integrated way with senior colleagues and
teams across the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Early Childhood Ireland is the leading membership organisation in the

REPORTS TO: MEMBERSHIP MANAGER.

CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent, following probation.

LOCATION: The organisation is operating on a hybrid basis. Our
national office is based at Tallaght in south Dublin.

JOB PURPOSE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and
maintaining our membership base. Reporting to the Membership Manager,
the Membership Officer will play a key role in delivering
operationally on the organisation?s Membership Strategy with
particular reference to retaining and expanding our membership base
and engaging with our members in line with our Strategic Plan **Apply

roll out of innovative ways to ensure retention of existing members
and recruitment and cultivation of new members, including the
communication of new member benefits that focus on member excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Support the Membership Manager with the delivery of our five-year
Membership Strategic Plan to support the delivery of the ECI Strategic

* Implement our Membership growth strategy, covering sales,
marketing and retention, in order to deliver volume and income growth
against targets
* Coordinating lead generation and conversion
* Develop and manage the delivery of campaigns to recruit new
members
* In collaboration with our Communications Team, ensure that the
membership offering is clearly presented through digital channels, and
across the Organisation?s communications channels
* Maintaining and building on current relationships with members of
Early Childhood Ireland and continually promote member services and
resolve member queries in timely fashion
* Providing excellent customer service to our members and ensuring
we meet their evolving needs and expectations
* Execute successful and innovative membership renewal campaigns
* Work collaboratively with all teams in the Organisation to deliver
Early Childhood Ireland?s strategy and acquire opportunities to
promote membership via partnerships or third-party affiliates
* Evaluate and monitor campaigns with a view to exceeding targets
* Evaluate renewal systems and communications
* Be the internal champion for the CRM database, maintaining an
overarching understanding of how the database is used throughout the
Organisation.
* Provide detailed reports for Management on ongoing basis
* Other relevant duties that may arise from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

* Proven background and experience in sales and customer service and
data proficiency
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to be creative, innovative, and resourceful
* Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
* Ability to work credibly and collaboratively with staff across the
organisation
* Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and
maintain a professional approach within a team context
* Goal oriented with proven capacity to meet deadlines
* Be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience in maintaining and increasing members
* A relevant 3rd level professional qualification at degree level in
an appropriate discipline or equivalent
* A minimum of three years? experience in a relevant area of work
