SOCIAL CARE LEADER / PERSON IN CHARGE (PIC) RECRUITMENT OPPORTUNITY
Delta Centre provides residential, respite, training, day, and
multi-sensory services to adults with learning disabilities. Service
users attend from Carlow and surrounding areas. Delta Centre is an
integral part of Carlow and employs over **Apply on the website** full
and part-time skilled health and social care staff.
Due to an expansion in our service, we are actively recruiting a full
time SOCIAL CARE LEADER/PERSON IN CHARGE (PIC) for our Residential
Services (4 full days per week over 7 days plus on-call).
A strong commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those
with an intellectual disability are essential attributes for this
role. The successful candidate will need great people skills, be
flexible and have experience with rapid and complex changing work
environments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* QQI Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Social Care or equivalent
* Recognised People Management course or currently enrolled in one
* A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the area of
intellectual disability
* A minimum of 3 years leadership experience within a healthcare
setting
* Excellent IT and administrative skills.
* A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence
