As an Embedded Software Engineer, your role will incorporate the full software development life cycle from requirements planning and analysis to designing, developing, testing and support.
Using the best in class development processes, your role will also involve the development of communication protocol and network technology software.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Software development experience using C or C++ within multithreaded real time operating systems
- Experience of Linux Kernel, user space and device drivers
- A good understanding of Intel computer architecture, operating systems and network protocols
- A degree in electronics, software engineering or computer engineering
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll have excellent organisational skills. First class communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.
Whilst not essential, experience of security protocols, ClearCase, hardware or software debuggers and assembly would be beneficial.
