Group Accountant
A Dublin based Group Accountant is required by a rapidly growing
Fintech/Insurance business.

With offices in both the Republic of Ireland and London, the Group
Accountant will be be primarily responsible for ensuring that key
financial reports are delivered correctly and on a timely basis to
Senior Managers

This role will ideally suit a candidate looking to work **Apply on the
website** days per week in a permanent role.

Group Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Primary point of contact within the Dublin office, across various
strategic accounting and operational issues

*

Support the Group consolidation process and prepare financial
statements

*

Providing key stakeholders with astute, monthly reports and associated
commentary/recommendations

*

Resolving all technical accounting queries

*

Stringently monitoring working capital - identifying risks and
opportunities

*

Performing balance sheet reconciliations

*

Duly completing all necessary tax returns

*

Support stakeholders with the external audit process

*

Swiftly identify opportunities to improve processes and implement
recommendations

*

Ad hoc strategic analysis

Candidate Requirements:

*

Excellent academic record of achievement

*

ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

*

Previous insurance sector experience

*

Strong, previous technical accounting and reporting experience

*

Confident working in a fast paced, professional environment

*

Emotionally intelligent with first class communication skills both
written and oral

*

Able to work self sufficiently whilst managing a busy, varied workload

*

Confident in working alongside and influencing senior stakeholders

*

Excellent IT / Finance systems skills
