Mayo Travellers Support Group wishes to recruit a Peer to Peer Family
Support Worker
The post will be a one-year fixed-term contract, subject to funding,
until end of September **Apply on the website** for one year (**Apply
on the website**.5 hours a week) based in Mayo Traveller Support Group
office in Castlebar.
The Family Support workers would respond as to Tier one supports on
the Hardaker model.
The ideal candidate will have:
? Understanding of the issues Facing Travellers/ working with
Agencies
? A minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field
? A thorough knowledge of community development and the needs of the
Traveller community
? The employee for this position is required to have use of a car
for official purposes, a full clean driving licence, current motor
insurance and taxation in relation to the vehicle. A letter of
indemnity from your insurance company is also required.
? Garda vetting is required for this position
