Laboratory Analyst
Laboratory Analyst

The intern will gain practical experience in analysis of river water, lake water, industrial effluents and groundwaters, using a range of wet chemistry and/or instrumental techniques. Maintenance of the laboratory quality system (to ISO17025 standard). The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following : analytical test methods; use of a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System); laboratory quality systems. On completion the intern will have attained skills in water analysis, working as part of laboratory team; ISO 17025.

Skills Requirements
An interest in environmental science, water chemistry, lab quality systems. Ability to work as part of a team.

Please Note:
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
