RECRUITMENT OF CEO

Inclusion Ireland is a national voluntary organisation that promotes
the rights, independence, dignity and equality of people with an
intellectual disability. Our mission is to champion the rights of
people with an intellectual disability in Ireland through securing the
full implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of
Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD).

We are working to make a difference in the lives of people with an
intellectual disability by achieving the following Strategic
Priorities: Meet the information needs of people with an intellectual
disability; Grow and support a diverse community of members and
partners; Influence change to secure the implementation of the rights
of people with an intellectual disability; and Ensure good governance
and build organisational capacity.

Inclusion Ireland is seeking to appoint a new CEO to lead our vision
of an inclusive Ireland where people with an intellectual disability
are supported to live and participate as an equal member within the
community

CEO

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strong
leadership to the organisation, serve as its spokesperson, and build
strategic alliances. The CEO will be responsible for driving the
implementation of the Strategic Plan and for the day-to-day management
of the organisation. The CEO will have a commitment to working with
and alongside persons with a disability in an inclusive way.

Inclusion Ireland seeks an energetic and dynamic leader with a strong
management skillset, a strategic mindset and experience working in a
multifaceted role alongside boards or committees. The incoming CEO
will have a strong understanding of governance, motivating staff and
be comfortable with achieving performance-related targets to ensure
that the Inclusion Ireland reaches its full potential. The CEO will
deliver the organisation's strategic plan in the most effective and
efficient manner. S/he is accountable for the overall performance of
the organisation and the day-to-day running and management of the
organisation's operations, under delegated authority from the Board.
