Our Client is Amgen and the role will be based in their Dun Laoghaire plant. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
Job Description
System administrator responsible for computerised systems in Quality Operations.
Administration and day to day support of Cerity/Empower/LIMS.
Training delivery for Cerity/Empower/LIMS.
Investigate and resolve LIMS method and report issues.
Build and update product templates in LIMS.
Execution of CFR 21 Part 11for computerised systems.
Troubleshooting issues with software applications in conjunction with site IT.
Ensures the system?s application user operations procedures are accurate, effective and being followed for:
Logging in and out of the application
User responsibilities
User roles and access privileges
Training requirements per role
Helpdesk and problem reporting process
Requests for system change process
System operation
Point of contact for application issues, first line of contact for user community
Perform template changes per SOP-003451/SOP-001468 for System #974 (contingency support only)
Coordinate with system support personnel to identify application issues and enhancement requests
Assist technical support personnel in making application software changes
Coordinate system maintenance downtime needs between user community and system support personnel
Point of contact for user account management defined herein
Supports audits and inspections
Requirements:
Minimum of 3/4 years relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Laboratory with particular expertise in LIMS administration
Possess key competencies as follows: Planning and Organisation, Problem Solving, Team Work, Communication, Flexibility, Self Starter.Hold Third Level Qualification (Degree) in Science related discipline: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology
IT Qualification or experience with LIMS essential
Package:
Contract rate of 35 - 40 euro per hour
Minimum Contract duration: 12 months
