THE ORGANISATION

Safe Ireland is the National Social Change Agency working to eliminate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in Dublin and reporting to the CEO you will manage and develop
the Information and Research aspects of the organisation?s
operations in line with development of the organisation.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Undertaking?research?and evaluation activities that provide Safe
Ireland with the evidence required for the formulation, implementation
and evaluation of policies and practices relating to domestic violence
in Ireland.
* Data management - internal and external - relevant to DSGBV
* Liaising with members of the Safe Ireland network to build
relationship, gather information when needed and assist in any
queries.
* Event planning and coordination for launches and meetings.
* Representing Safe Ireland at various forums including conferences,
meetings and training events.
* Communicating with other relevant organisations and agencies to
develop relations and work collectively on projects.
* Managing the Safe Ireland social media and updating the website.
* Providing a high level of administrative support to all projects.

SKILLS REQUIRED

* Excellent range of IT skills (including Microsoft Office and Teams)
* Able to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
* Able to communicate information clearly and concisely using the
most appropriate method.
* Ability to collate, analyse and share information.
* Must be flexible with the ability to multitask.
* Attention to detail and ability to plan ahead while managing a
wide and busy workload.
* Effective communication skills
* Positive and proactive approach to work planning and time
management.
* Confident working under pressure and managing competing
priorities.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Email, and Internet.
* Very strong organizational, time management, people management,
analytical and problem solving skills.
* Very good communication and written skills.
* Ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
* Ability to maintain attention to detail at all times and work to
the highest quality standards.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* A pro-active and can-do attitude.
* Supports a learning environment.
* Ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with funders, service
users, a multitude of professionals and key stakeholders.
