Irish Lung Fibrosis Association: Support Administrator (Part-Time)
PART-TIME SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Founded in **Apply on the website** as a charitable organisation, the
Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA) provides research, education
and support for patients and families of Lung Fibrosis in Ireland. We
are now seeking to contract a Support Administrator on a part-time
basis for a 1-year period.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the ILFA Administrator, the ILFA Support Administrator
will be responsible for the following activities:

* COMMUNICATIONS: As primary contact for ILFA, you will respond to
queries, correspondence, administration and communications for the
organisation. You will also assist with the production and
distribution of the ILFA newsletter (three times yearly) and other
printed materials that ILFA develops and maintains, such as
information brochures and flyers. You will maintain the contact
database and mailing list.
* EVENT MANAGEMENT: ILFA runs several key events throughout the
year, such as Patient Information Days, Specialist Lectures, and other
online and face-to-face meetings and events. You will help manage
these events including organising people resources, venues, speakers
and merchandise.
* FUNDRAISING: Develop, maintain and support all fundraising efforts
including managing all related administration e.g., queries,
correspondence, compliance, fundraising reports and direct fundraising
efforts by ILFA.
* DEVELOPING AND REPRESENTING ILFA: You may be required to attend
conferences and meetings with relevant networks and organisations.
Working with the ILFA committee, you will develop annual plans and
strategy, incorporating member feedback and best-practice governance
guidelines.
* SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT: Liaise and manage the relationships with
various suppliers
* OTHER DUTIES AS REQUIRED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

* Excellent administrative skills and multi-tasking ability
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and
verbal.
* Self-starter with an ability to develop, plan, drive and deliver
ideas
* Creative thinker with experience in bringing new ideas and
solutions to fruition.
* Project management and event management experience
* Time management skills
* Strong relationship-building ability
* Experience in business or with a charitable organisation is
desirable.
* Clean driving licence with vehicle access.
* Familiarity with GDPR, confidentiality and governance

OTHER:

The person will be appointed on a part-time basis for **Apply on the
