PROVIDER TO SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR REVIEW OF AIS TO LDA PILOT
PROJECT.?
REQUIREMENTS/KEY DELIVERABLES:?
(a) the effectiveness of the transition centres from of AIS to LDA and
lessons learned ? to include:?
* Experience of LEARNERS (engagement/relevance/assessments linked to
life experience etc)?
* Experience of TUTORS/TEACHERS/INSTRUCTORS (relevance of programme
content/workload)?
* Experience of CO-ORDINATORS (what worked well/what was a
challenge, would you do it again and why)?
* Experience of QA TEAM (what worked well/what was a challenge,
recommendations for the future)?
* Mentoring Programme (Did programmes feel supported/informed
throughout the pilot)?
(b) the appropriateness of using Locally Devised Assessment with
second providers?
(c) Identify governance checks that need to be in place with second
providers ?
(d) Outline QA Frameworks options for WWETB that can be used with
LTIs, CTCs and Second Providers into the future?
b, c and d to include:?
* Views of all stakeholders on the use of AIS versus LDA?
* Safeguards for WWETB QA for partnerships with Second Providers ?
* Can perceived issues with AISs be resolved in other ways??
* Do WWETB offer choice of LDA or AIS?s to Second Providers ? if
yes what governance needs to be in place and if no why not??
* Feasibility of extending the pilot to other programmes for QA

Voluntary Providers??
