They achieve their goal by applying aproprietary oral drug delivery technology and pharmacological expertise to approved drugs as well as new chemical or biological entities
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, the applicant will have a keen interest to take on responsibility to scale-up the manufacturing process for the lead product and underlying technology. The role will involve hands-on management of scale-up activities through both internal manufacturing process development and commercial contract manufacturers. Typical for all start-up companies, there may be a variety of other tasks outside the main role specification that the candidate may need to undertake at the request of the CEO to help this early-stage business reach its full potential. For an outstanding performer there would be the opportunity to grow the role as the company develops.
Requirements:
Engineer or scientist with qualification in appropriate technical area
Experience in some or all of:
Oral Drug Delivery Technology, ideally scale-up of such processes
Technology transfer between equipment manufacturer as well as contract manufacturing organisations
Good project management/organizational skills
Self-starter who can quickly take the initiative in problem solving and adapt to changes
Professional and confident, good people skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language)
Package:
Contract: initially 9-12 month contract
Rate €50 - 70 per hour, negotiable
