CLONES DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY / ULSTER CANAL STORES

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR POSITION

Clones Development Society (CDS) is a proactive community based
organisation which has a long established track record in developing
facilities and delivering services to the Clones community. Using a
social enterprise model, a range of services are provided for both
local people and visitors to the area as part of an overall strategy
to promote the area, celebrating and sharing its rich cutural
heritage. From its base at the Ulster Canal Stores, the Society offers
a destination visit to Clones in the form of a restaurant, lace
museum, craft shop, room rental, tourism for clones along with being
very active during the pandemic with our meals on wheels which we
deliver to Clones, Newbliss, Scotshouse and surrounding areas.

With the recent announcement of a new marina at the canal stores and
our own project to develop a worker?s cottage the position offers an
exciting opportunity to develop your skills and take part in a
wonderful project.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To support the management of the facility in financial
administration and
* bookkeeping
* To liaise with management, Board of Clones Development Society,
Banks, Auditors and Funding Organisations.
* To reconcile all financial transactions and prepare an income and
expenditure balance report for monthly management meetings
* Good IT skills required including Word and Excel, Payroll and
advantage but all training will be given
* To be flexible in the role to compliment the rest of the team
