COORDINATOR (4-DAY WEEK)

LIFESTYLE DEVELOPMENT GROUP CLG INVITES CANDIDATES TO SUBMIT A CV AND
A DETAILED LETTER OF APPLICATION OUTLINING THEIR SUITABILITY FOR THE
ROLE.

Lifestyle Development Group is a Community Development company located
in Drogheda, Co. Louth providing services which include Adult
Education, Childcare, Lifestart Family Visitation Programme, Teen
Parent Support Programme, training programme for Early School Leavers
and a Childcare Community Employment (CE) Scheme.

The role of the Coordinator is to work with the Board to ensure proper
governance is in place and that the service is compliant with all
legislation, that policies are in place and implemented, that
financial affairs are in order and appropriate records are securely
maintained. The Coordinator will also work in the wider community
networking with other relevant community organisations in order to
respond to emerging community needs by exploring new ideas/initiatives
guided by the principles of Community Development.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE;

* Coordination & Strategic Planning of all Lifestyle Projects,
Initiatives & Activities in accordance with the stated Aims &
Objectives of the company and as instructed by the Board
* Representation of the company by actively engaging with community
fora, local community networks and relevant statutory bodies to
further the strategic aspirations of the company. This includes acting
as designated contact on the Lifestyle DSP Sponsoring Committee.
* Responding to emerging community needs, exploring new
ideas/initiatives guided by the principles of Community Development
* Directing the team of Lifestyle managers and facilitating regular
management meetings
* Responsible for all personnel matters related to employees,
training and recruitment
* Development, updating and implementation of all relevant policies
* Responsible for identification of funding opportunities, funding
applications, and the associated allocation and oversight of same.
* Ensuring fiduciary compliance and dealing with funders, banks and
auditors. This will entail working closely with the Finance Manager
and regular financial reporting to the Board.
* Oversight of administration of the Company as required by law,
e.g. Annual Report, maintenance and archiving of company records, PR,
survey of needs, etc.
* Plan and oversee maintenance of premises.

THIS ROLE WILL BE OFFERED ON THE BASIS OF A 4-DAY WEEK. FLEXIBILITY
WILL BE REQUIRED.
