SLIGO TRAVELLERS SUPPORT GROUP WISHES TO RECRUIT AN
EDUCATION OUTREACH WORKER
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NUI GALWAY MINC?IRS MISL'D IN EDUCATION PROJECT,
ACCESS CENTRE, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF IRELAND, GALWAY

The Minc?irs Misl'd in Education - Empowering Irish Travellers to
transition and build a sense of belonging in Higher Education (MMIE)
will develop an Irish Traveller community embedded and culturally
inclusive model that will empower the Travelling community to identify
and overcome barriers to access, progression, retention, and success
in higher education.

The post will be a **Apply on the website**-hours a week fixed term,
eight-month contract, based in Sligo Traveller Support Group offices.
There may be an option to remote work by agreement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* A knowledge of community development and the needs of the Traveller
community
* Must have access to transport , this role will need visits between
students homes and schools / colleges
* A clear understanding of Educational System
