REPORTS TO: The Manager.

STATUS: One year fixed term, part time contract (**Apply on the
website** hours per week to be agreed with successful candidate) with
possible extension beyond one year.

LOCATION: Our office is based at **Apply on the website** Eblana
House, D?n Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Some remote/flexible working
possible. This role involves managing volunteers at different
locations across Dublin, mainly Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Six Months.

THE ROLE

We are excited to be recruiting a Volunteer Programmes Officer to join
our team.

In this role, you will lead the development of DLR Community
Volunteers. A new events-based and urgent community response volunteer
programme.

You will launch, develop and manage the initiative. Working with our
team, local stakeholders and volunteers to respond to needs in the
community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative,
dedicated and dynamic team, where there is always space to try new
things and make a difference.

organisation and registered charity which works alongside Volunteer
Ireland and a network of Volunteer Centres.

We develop volunteering in the County, by supporting individuals to
volunteer and organisations to involve volunteers. Our mission is to
promote the value of volunteering and increase the range and quality
of volunteering in D?n Laoghaire Rathdown.
