ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a new and exciting MARKETING opportunity attached to our Naas
offices in Ireland. This INSIGHTS MANAGER role is a critical role in
the E&R Marketing team given the importance of Insight and Thought
leadership in our business model to support and drive our EUM and
customer growth strategies. The Insights Manager will be responsible
for managing the insights specialist, driving and delivering the
Insights agenda for the business providing intelligence and insights
on consumer/shopper/category/channel and competitors to create
commercial value.

In addition this role will act as our primary contact with the Global
Consumer Insights Director and Global Data COE supporting the progress
of our Insight and data led outside in agenda ensuring full
collaboration globally and management of new tools and agency
relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work collaboratively with the broader marketing team to build the
insight agenda for the business to guide strategic decision making and
growth strategies.
* Lead the insight team to deliver the insight plan specifically
advising on best practice research techniques, commissioning and full
management of all primary research initiatives (digital and
traditional) from briefing, agency management, budget management,
fieldwork, debrief and white paper creation.
* Generate differentiated and proprietary insight through
interpretation and application of consumer/shopper intelligence and
data.
* Understand the competitive set through leading regular deep-dive
competitive research and analysis, with a view to influencing and
shaping overall business strategy.
* Ownership of existing and new Kerry Proprietary Insight tools such
as Kerry Consumer

First, Kerry Trendspotting and Kerry Compass to ensure all tools are
fully leveraged and maintained, including leading the training of the
marketing function to ensure full and broad literacy in the use of the
tools in a consistent way across the business.
* Utilise online platforms and corporate listening service to extract
insights from both customers and consumers within target end use
markets.
* Ensure continuous injection of actionable insight into the business
using data as a primary means to influence commercial decisions using
a variety of means such as whitepapers, infographics, insight
workshops, reports etc.
* Actively drive and develop close working relationships with the
insights teams globally to learn, share and collaborate on key
Insights platforms to drive efficiencies and drive commercial value.
* Supporting senior executive forums, global executive teams,
investor relations in coordinating all sources of insight from each
business into executive presentation packs.
* Budget management and management of key performance metrics against
the different research projects

_QUALIFICATIONS_ and skills

* Bachelor&#**Apply on the website**;s Degree required. MBA preferred

* Demonstrated ability in insight generation specifically delivering
customer and consumer insights to drive strategic growth initiatives
* Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
* Strong knowledge and proven experience in operational research
* Experience in B2B or food ingredient industry
* Proven project management skills
* Effective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with
cross-functional teams
* Leadership and management (of employees, projects and agencies)
* Creative, innovative and dynamic with leadership qualities
necessary to drive growth and develop talent
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically
* Proven resource optimization, team management and development
skills
