BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) has a twofold mission: to prevent
the harm and heal the trauma of all forms of sexual violence in
Ireland. We provide therapeutic and first response services through
the National **Apply on the website**/7 Helpline, face to face therapy
and a developing online counselling programme. We provide
accompaniment and support to those who attend the Rotunda Sexual
Assault Treatment Unit, Garda Stations, and the Courts. In addition,
we offer education and training programmes for a wide variety of
professionals and volunteers who work with those who have experienced
sexual violence.

THE ROLE:

The Volunteer Services Manager will play a pivotal role within the
organisation where they will be responsible for managing all volunteer
activities from attraction and recruitment through to supporting the
volunteers? journey within the DRCC. The successful candidate will
support the delivery of an efficient and effective volunteer support
network for the DRCC to enable the organisation to support any person
affected by rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment or childhood
sexual abuse.

will be making an important and varied contribution to its work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Management of the Volunteer Services team providing leadership and
support.
* Responsible for attracting and recruiting volunteers based on the
needs of the organisation.
* Working closely with other departments to ensure high quality
supervision standards and the development of a world class volunteer
training programme.
* Ensuring DRCC has quality Volunteering policies and procedures in
place.
* Implementation of a new Volunteer software package within the
organisation.

class volunteer department operates, can demonstrate the strength of
your organisational, people management and communication skills, and
have solid IT acumen, this could be the role for you!
