BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST
PSYCHOLOGY TEAM

The successful candidate will work as part of an evolving and dynamic
psychological services team led by the Principal Clinical Psychologist
and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
There will be opportunities to provide clinical supports to a broad
age range of individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism and
mental health concerns, with a particular focus on support staff teams
in the design and implementation of bespoke, radically person-centred
individualised support arrangements.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* An honours primary degree in psychology or equivalent;
* Post-graduate professional qualification in applied behaviour
analysis;
* A high level of expertise in the design and delivery of systems
wide positive behaviour supports;
* Relevant experience working with adults with intellectual
disabilities and/or autism and behaviours of concern;
* Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills;
* A commitment to person centred values;
* Willingness and availability to work flexible hours in response to
service demands;
* Ability to travel within the local service area, including full
driving license.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in designing and developing individualised support
arrangements for adults with exceptional needs;
* Demonstrated competencies in delivering staff training;
* An understanding of the principles of social role valorisation.
