We are currently seeking to hire a Systems Specialist to join our Labs
Informatics team in Athlone - The role will support our lab
applications, ELN, inventory management system and pull data and
assist with troubleshooting all applications.

* Summarized Purpose
* Coordinates, formats, and develops e-methods using software and the
database that will be used to document the conduct of a process or
procedure in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN). Coordinates and
prepares reports. Creates/verifies new method builder blocks and
instrument software parsing techniques. Ensures that the e-method,
reports, method builder blocks, and parsing techniques are complete,
accurate, and provided to laboratory/support staff within the
requested timeline to meet or exceed quality expectations.

Serves as a resource for training, mentoring, and the development of
process improvements for the ELN system.

* Essential Functions
* * Organizes processes for an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
Reviews e- methods, reports, method builder blocks, and parsing
techniques created by other E-Method Developers.

* Identifies and coordinates with the lab/support staff in regard to
timing and completion of e-methods, reports, method builder blocks,
and parsing techniques. Ensures quality and timelines of work
performance so that quality standards are met or exceeded.

* Provides assistance and resource information to the lab/support
staff. Interacts with the lab/support staff to define needed revisions
and updates e-methods, reports, method builder blocks, and parsing
techniques appropriately.

* Interfaces with other departments and/or facilities to help with
direction, validation, implementation, and consistency in completion
of e-methods, reports, method builder blocks, and parsing techniques.

* Ensures compliance with PPD, and Client policies and procedures.
Keeps updated on the guidelines and requirements of the FDA and other
international regulatory agencies for reference in the development of
required processes.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

* * Education and Experience
* * Bachelor&#**Apply on the website**;s Science degree or equivalent
and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

* Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and
abilities to perform the job (comparable to 4+ years) or equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience

* Lab experience essential

* ELN experience is preferred

* KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* * General knowledge of laboratory processes

* Problem solving skills

* Ability to train others/leadership qualities

* Detail oriented

* Good editorial/proofreading skills

* Proficient with Microsoft Office software

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
