We are now seeking to recruit 2 Youth Workers

WEEK) ONE YEAR CONTRACT
YOUTH WORKER
The Youth Worker is responsible for identifying young people at risk
in the community through contact with local schools, youth
groups,?gardai?and other relevant services. He/she is also
responsible for assessing the potential and needs of the identified
young people and then developing and delivering specific programmes to
meet their potential and needs as agreed with the Management Board and
Project Leader.
ESSENTIAL?QUALIFICATIONS
* An * NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in
Youth Work or Youth and Community Work is essential. Two?year?s
full-time experience of working with young people at risk in a youth
work setting in a paid capacity?is desirable.
* NSETS: North/South Education and Training Standards Committee for
Youth Work.
