Aiseiri Aislinn is a residential Adolescent Treatment Centre for
Addictions and is located in Co. Kilkenny.
Aiseiri Aislinn in association with Carlow Kilkenny ETB wish to
recruit a Horticulture tutor for 4 hours per week, with additional
hours available for the first half of **Apply on the website**.
The tutor will be responsible for the design and implementation of an
engaging and educational horticulture programme for adolescents
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Level 8, Honours Degree in horticulture or relevant discipline.
* Experience teaching/ tutoring adolescents.
* Experience working with vulnerable people, preferably in the area
of addiction/ recovery.
* Knowledge and experience of Children?s First Guidelines and
knowledge of best practice for working with young people.
* Ability to design, plan and implement class plans. Ability to
record and maintain evidence of work and other related documents.
* Strong organisational, interpersonal, conflict resolution,
communication and leadership skills.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to maintain the principles of confidentiality in all areas
of work
* Full Clean Drivers Licence.
* Mandatory Garda Clearance.
* 2 references from previous Employers.
