South Western Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force: Family Support Worker (Part-Time)


The South Western Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force (SWRDATF) brings
together a wide range of representatives who collectively have
developed an integrated holistic strategy to address the drug use and
its associated problems in the South West Dublin, West Wicklow and
Kildare areas. The Task Force are currently developing its team
therefore wish to recruit the following position:

FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER PART-TIME _(**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS)_

The successful candidate will provide Support for the Hope Cottage, a
community Family Support Service provided by the South Western
Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force CLG. The aim of the service is to
provide a safe space for those impacted by a loved one?s addiction
to communicate their concerns, develop their coping skills, avail of
professional support where needed and connect with others who
experience similar situations. Family Members are central to the
development of Family Support services in the Kildare West Wicklow
region and it is paramount their involvement be valued at all times.
This post has been developed in line with the National Drug Strategy,
Reducing Harm Supporting Recovery Goal Two, Action 2.1.**Apply on the

The SWRDATF are now recruiting a social care worker to fulfil this
exciting new role and invite applicants to apply for the part-time
social care position.

An aptitude for group work & facilitation, holistic service delivery
and a minimum of 2 years experience is required as well. S/he will be
employed by the South Western Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force
company limited by guarantee on an initial **Apply on the website**

Salary: HSE Social Care Worker scale, point 1 (pro-rata)
