COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

(PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT)

St Patrick?s Mental Health Services? Communications Department is
recruiting a Communications Officer to support the delivery of
effective internal and external communications strategies and
campaigns for St Patrick?s Mental Health Services (SPMHS).

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE;

* A qualification in a relevant field (PR, marketing, communications)
* At least two years? experience in a relevant, fast-paced working
environment
* At least one year?s experience of working with the media, with a
proven experience in securing positive media coverage, and an in-depth
knowledge of the Irish media landscape
* Experiencing in supporting the delivery of successful integrated
internal and external communications campaigns
* Experience in creating engaging content for a range of
communication channels, including written, video and visual content
* Experience in planning and delivering both online and offline
events
* An understanding of social media and its role in the delivery of
communications campaigns and events
* Experience working in a healthcare or non-profit setting
(desirable).
