1. ROLE:

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join our organisation's IT
Team based in Dublin. Depaul is a values-led organisation working with
a number of services throughout Dublin and a number of southern
counties as well as in Belfast and Derry.
This role will report directly to the IT Manager and will support all
internal IT systems and processes within our organisation and ensure
the systems remain fit for purpose across all departments.
Some travel will be required for site visits to our **Apply on the
website**+ service locations throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

2. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

* Level 1 and 2 support - assessing IT support queries relating to
system access, system performance, equipment performance, storage
space or connectivity on a daily basis; responding to each in priority
order and resolving each or escalating where necessary to level 3
support or third party suppliers; attending at project site to assist
where necessary
* Configuration and installation of new PCs, laptops, phones,
printers and other IT hardware and software
* Setting up user access to systems and folders and restoring access
for blocked users / lost passwords
* Maintaining lists and managing starters/leavers on PCs, AD,
Google, OTIS (Salesforce CRM system), Intranet (Totara)
* Helping maintain the security of the network with good processes
and ensuring all patches and software are kept up to date
* Configuration and Tracking of mobile devices
* Supporting the development of the OTIS system
* Supporting the asset management process
* Supporting the licence management process, and
* Preparation of reports as required.

THE ABOVE LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE; ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
MAY BE ADDED OVER TIME AND FLEXIBILITY TO COVER FOR OTHER STAFF ROLES
IS REQUIRED FROM TIME TO TIME. ALL TASKS SHOULD BE COMPLETED IN AN
ACCURATE MANNER AND SUPPORTED BY CLEAR DOCUMENTATION.

3. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Some travel is required so the successful applicant must have their
own transport and a valid driver?s license (ESSENTIAL).
* Minimum of 3 years? experience in an IT role, including PC
installation and troubleshooting hardware and system issues
(ESSENTIAL)
* Ability to balance multiple tasks, working to service standards
* Ability to troubleshoot issues on their own
* Good ability to follow instruction, both in person and using
existing documentation
* Good written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with
colleagues and service suppliers and to keep documented processes up
to date.
* Strong attention to detail with effective time management skills
* Experience in the charity sector is desirable but not essential

4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Certificate or diploma in IT support / systems or equivalent
(ESSENTIAL)
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft and G-Suite operating systems and
applications, especially Windows **Apply on the website**, Office

* Strong knowledge of Mobile operating systems, especially Android
* Experience with SonicWALL Firewalls and WiFi devices (Sonicpoint,
Unifi and Grandstream)
* Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues
with PCs, laptops, printers and Wi-Fi
* Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
* Experience using IT ticketing system
