COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) is recruiting a COMMUNICATIONS &
MARKETING EXECUTIVE ON A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR **APPLY ON THE

SEI is a not-for-profit organisation that supports social
entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to tackle Ireland?s social
problems. Our mission is to find people with solutions to social
problems and support them on every step of their journey.

SEI?s programmes and supports are anchored across our three
strategic pillars on the journey of a social entrepreneur ?
inspiring and incubating ideas at the first STEP; accelerating and
developing organisations that require a LEAP of faith; and ensuring
the best solutions can SOAR and impact at scale.

country. We have an annual turnover of between ?1.5m-?2m and we

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Working as part of our Communications team, the Communications and
Marketing Executive will help to share the story and work of SEI using
a variety of communication tools such as digital media, marketing, PR
and events. In particular, the Communications and Marketing Executive
will be responsible for curating and managing all SEI social media
channels and will play a lead role in developing and implementing PR
and marketing strategies for SEI programmes and events.

KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS

* Curating and managing all SEI?s social media channels.
* Creating multimedia digital content (graphics, short videos, ads).
* Creating and disseminating regular newsletters to SEI?s key
audiences.
* Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the success of SEI?s
online channels.
* Updating and maintaining SEI?s website.
* Managing SEO, Google Adwords and analytics for SEI?s website.

MARKETING

* Conducting market research, identifying target audiences, and
creating paid and organic marketing campaigns.
* Researching, developing, and implementing advertising/marketing
strategies for SEI campaigns such as our national call for
applications, flagship community event each October and other public
events.

PR

* Developing and rolling out PR strategies for specific SEI
programmes and initiatives.
* Researching, writing and issuing materials including press
releases about SEI.
* Managing PR events such as photocalls and press briefings as
required.
* Collating SEI media coverage and developing reports on same.

EVENTS

* Assisting with the design, theme and messaging of a number of
events throughout the year to communicate the SEI story to our
community and the general public.

ROLE PROFILE:

ESSENTIAL

* Minimum of two years? experience in a similar Marketing and
Communications role.
* Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a
variety of content.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape.
* Strong digital skills with demonstratable experience of curating
social media accounts on behalf of an organisation.
* Demonstratable experience of creating multimedia content.
* Experience in researching, developing, and implementing marketing
strategies.
* Experience in the use of website content management and
measurement systems (WordPress, Google Analytics) and digital
marketing tools (SEO, Google Adwords).
* Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, and
an ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.

DESIRABLE

* A third level qualification in PR, marketing, or communications.
* Experience of the not-for-profit sector in a professional or
voluntary capacity.

LOCATION: SEI?s office is in Warrington Place, Dublin 2. We operate
a Hybrid working model.
