PERSON IN CHARGE (PIC), ID SERVICES (AUTISM FOCUSED)
The Talbot Group welcome applications for the position of PIC (Person
in Charge) in Stamullen, Co. Meath. The overall objective of this
position is to manage an innovative service that is accredited by the
National Autism Society. The manager of this service will ensure care
and support is delivered to the highest professional standards which
meets the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users
with a diagnosis of Autism and Intellectual Disability.
The core purpose of the post is to work within a person centred
philosophy, to be responsible for the overall management of the
assigned services working in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary
team. He/She will ensure services to persons with Autism are provided
within a relationship which is based on respect and equality and that
promotes their independence.
The PIC will also be responsible for the supervision and assessment of
staff under his/her direction and to take a leadership role in
clinical governance including quality assurance, practice development
and clinical practice.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must meet the following criteria on the closing date:
* Must hold a Nursing Degree. (Be registered in the relevant Division
of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board
of Ireland (NMBI) or be entitled to be so registered)
OR
* Hold a Level 8 Degree in Social Care
AND
* ?Have a minimum three years? managerial experience within the
health sector
AND
* Hold a recognised managerial qualification (minimum Level 6 on the
National Framework of Qualifications)
AND
* ?Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at
the appropriate level
