1. ROLE:

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide support to our
organisation?s central services in Dublin. Depaul is a values-led
organisation working with a number of services throughout Dublin and
Belfast. This role will report directly to the Senior Service Managers
and will be responsible for relief management across all services and
supporting senior team regarding Workforce management issues as well
as overseeing the management of on call function.

2. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

* Person will support the Senior services team in the effective
management of the relief workers across all services.
* Person will take responsibility for coordination of on call system
* Ensure that Relief shift planner document is kept update and other
relevant documentation Implement and review and new tolls in
management of relief and staff
* Support Local management teams (LMT) to secure relief cover by
having an understanding of availability within the relief
* Oversee the training for relief workers
* Organizing meetings with relief workers if appropriate
* Liaise with the People department in relation to relief usage and
cover
* Support recruitment of Relief workers
* Assist LMTs with emergency cover
* Ensure that all Depaul policies and procedures are being adhered
to and to contribute to the effective implementation of the Depaul?s
Equal Opportunities Policy as it affects both Depaul and its work with
staff group
* Develop specify procedures in relation to relief workers and
management of cover
* To at all times undertake your role in a professional manner
maintaining a high quality standard of work, and to always work in
accordance with the aims, values and ethos of Depaul.
* To occasionally support the local management team with operational
tasks
* Undertake any other duties that may be required which are
Commensurate with this role.

3. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience of scheduling/ staff management
* An understanding of rota management principles
* Excellent communications skills
* Ability to communicate and motivate staff
* Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions on short
notice
* Excellent IT skills
* Respect for the values and beliefs of Depaul
