FAMILY & CHILD CASE WORKER FULL-TIME
(REF: FCW)
Donnycarney Youth Project CLG is a community-based project working
with youths, children, families and people in addiction. Within the
project we have a Family and Child Service.
We are currently expanding our services and inviting individuals with
enthusiasm, drive and initiative to apply for the position of Family
Case Worker. This is a one-year contract.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Essential Criteria
* A relevant third level qualification (Degree Level 8) in Social
Science, Addiction or other relevant discipline and demonstrate an
exceptional track record
* A minimum of three years? experience with children and families
at risk in a paid capacity
* An understanding of current Drug and Alcohol policy issues and
best practice
* A detailed knowledge of approaches or models used in family
interventions in a community-based setting
* Have experience of family assessments and development of Care
Plans
* Have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
* Experience of developing exciting new programmes for children and
families
* Have excellent report writing and presentation skill (Knowledge of
salesforce is desirable)
* Full Clean Driving Licence (D1 Licence is desirable)
This position will include scheduled day and evening work and on
occasions weekend work
Salary: The salary for this post is in line with HSE Social Care
Salary Scale (depending on experience)
