SERVICE MANAGER - CORK

Pieta?s vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have
been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance.

Pieta provide a range of counselling services for people who are
suicidal, engage in self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta

LOCATION: Cork

1-year fixed term contract

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Service Manager is to support the clinical governance
of the Cork Service. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this
role ensures quality in service delivery and consistency in approach.

* Promote and maintain the ethos of Pieta which is rooted in
compassion and care
* Wait list management and reporting against KPIs; agreeing actions
and initiatives to support achieving KPIs
* Liaise with Regional Support Coordinator and Regional Manager for
appropriate allocation of clients and waiting lists. Attend weekly
meetings with Regional Support Coordinator and Regional Manager
* Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead Therapist ensuring
best practice in clinical governance at the Cork Centre
* Monitor and follow up therapist availability and timesheets;
ensuring their skill sets are up to date
* People management including performance/probation management,
individual management support meetings, performance related meetings,
absentee management, complaints management
* Oversee Centre Administrator inductions, training, rostering, and
record completion
* Oversee file management in-line with GDPR compliance, data
protection and confidentiality
* Consult and collaborate with Regional Manager
* Escalate any concerns to the Regional Manager
* Implement all policies and procedures and monitor and ensure
compliance by all staff
* Work closely with operations department to ensure Health & Safety
compliance in centre/with staff. (Including overseeing compliance with
any Covid restrictions or related guidelines).
* Chair monthly team meetings and set agendas for these meetings
* Meet daily with clinical lead to review issues arising and
identify operational implications from clinical concerns and agree
actions to address
* Work within an agreed budget

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* A third level degree or equivalent in Health or Social Care
Management
* 3 years? experience in a similar management role
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of working with a broad cross section of staff and
professionals, across agencies/communities
* Be interested in and demonstrate a belief and enthusiasm for the
work of Pieta
* Experience with databases an advantage (e.g., Salesforce CRM)
