Enthusiastic Personal Assistant required to support a young Aspergers
Adult. The young man is very Independent, he is looking for a personal
assistant to assist him to attend social outings and events in the
community.
Whilst your employment will lie with the AT Network you will work
directly for the person. We act as intermediary between our members
? who we call Leaders ? and the Health Service Executive (HSE)
We are looking for an?ENTHUSIASTIC AND MOTIVATED INDIVIDUAL?who
wants to provide support to empower people with disabilities to be as
independent as they can be, so that they hold charge over their own
lives, just like everybody else.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* An Understanding of autism and anxiety along with a genuine
interest in working with autistic people and families.
* Have a full driving license
* Strong values and person-centred approach
* Must be enthusiastic, resilient, energetic, and proactive
* Social skills required to relate well with others.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Social Care Degree
* A qualification in autism including relevant autism experience
