Behaviour Detectives provides services based on the principles of
Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support for
children, young adults, and adults in the area of challenging
behaviours with a range of developmental disabilities including Autism
Spectrum Disorders across home, school, respite and residential
settings.

RESIDENTIAL MANAGER / TEAM LEADER (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
WITH BEHAVIOUR ANALYTIC BACKGROUND

JOB LOCATION: Dublin 8
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time (**Apply on the website**-hours per week);
Specific purpose Contract
HOURS: Hours are based on a timetable across the week and may include
sleepovers. This role will require flexibility to facilitate the needs
of the Client and to support the Team.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The emphasis is placed on supporting the Team to
achieve good outcomes for the Client and consistent implementation of
the intervention plan that would be compatible with community
integration, skills teaching and reduction of behaviours of concern. A
special interest in behaviour analysis, mental health, and OCD like
ritualistic behaviours is a must.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Hold a Level 8 (Honours) degree in Psychology/ Social Care/ Nursing or
related area. Recognised Management Course OR currently enrolled in
one.

DESIRABLE:

Hold a Post-Graduate Qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis
(BCBA) or related area/ or be in pursuit of same/ or relevant
experience and knowledge of ABA principles.

ALL CANDIDATES SHOULD:

* Ideally, have 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the
area of health or social care.
* Three years of experience working with individuals with Autism
diagnosis, complex presentations and mental health difficulties,
preferably with adolescence.
* Experience of overseeing the implementation of Behaviour Support
Plans.
* Excellent understanding and experience of ensuring HIQA and Mental
Health Commission (MHC) requirements compliance.
* Experience working in a Residential Setting.
* Experience in utilising the principles of Behaviour Analysis and
Positive Behaviour Support.
* Flexible, enthusiastic and committed.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent, interpersonal, organisational, logistical and IT
skills.
* In-depth understanding of ethical and professional practices.
* Be committed to the provision of high-quality Person-Centred
services, supporting individuals to access their local communities and
to develop to their full potential.
* Full B Licence required and access to own vehicle with business
insurance is desirable.
* The salary is competitive & dependent on experience.
