Childhood Matters Campus dedicated to providing high-quality
childcare, interactive learning, and memorable experiences.

We are hiring a dedicated, highly motivated childcare practitioner to
inspire and be part of a fantastic team at Childhood Matters Early
Years Creche. This is an excellent chance to join a friendly, vibrant,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop and deliver curriculum founded on cr?che?s philosophies
whilst following childcare regulations and National Standards for
Pre-school services
* Create positive learning environments including resources based on
child-led learning.
* Develop strategies to guide positive children?s behaviour
* Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff
* Participate in team meetings and review meetings and report to
Team Leader.
* Observe and record children?s development and behaviour using
electronic portfolios
* Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe
* Report all concerns regarding the welfare and development of the
children to the Practice Manager or the Designated Liaison Person.
* Ensure that all information relating to children, their families,
staff colleagues, etc are treated in a thoroughly professional manner,
in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, data protection
legislation, and Freedom of Information

REQUIREMENTS:

* A naturally warm and respectful approach to children?s individual
needs and development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Knowledge and understanding of Aistear and Siolta and a good
understanding of the Regulatory Framework.
* Experience in building curriculum and lesson plans
* Ability to use own initiative

EDUCATION:

FETAC/QQI Level 6 (required) / Level 7(preferable)

EXPERIENCE:

Early Years: 2 years (preferable)
