COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

BASED IN CRC, CLONDALKIN

FULL TIME, **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS PER WEEK; FIXED TERM
CONTRACT

CRC is seeking to recruit a Community Employment Assistant Supervisor
reporting to CE Supervisor and Sponsoring Committee. CRC sponsors a CE
programme providing participants with the opportunity to achieve a QQI
Major Award and gain valuable work experience in a health and social
care setting. Applicants for this role should understand the
objectives of Community Employment Scheme.

This role will assist the CE Supervisor with the day to day management
of the CE Scheme.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist in the recruitment of new participants
* Assist in maintaining efficient and effective administrative and
training records
* Assist the CE Supervisor and Line Managers in supporting training
plans while monitoring and evaluating the training needs of
participants
* Preparing payroll claims through the Application for Wages and
Supervision Sheet system (AWS)
* Engage with local employers regarding opportunities for
participants
* Liaising with (DEASP) relating to programme management
* Researching employment and training opportunities

The successful candidate will have the following ESSENTIAL
requirements:

* Reasonable knowledge of the objectives of CE Schemes
* Excellent administrative skills and organisational skills
* Knowledge and competency working with Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
* Ability to direct, motivate and mentor participants.

DESIRABLE requirements

* Demonstrated experience in training and development and people
management
* Previous experience in office administration and office
management:
* A?QQI Level 6 or working towards a (major award or equivalent) in
a relevant subject such as business administration
* Experience in computerised accounts and payroll
* Experience of I.T. systems, such as Welfare Partners

This position is a fixed term contract in line with the project and is
subject to continued DEASP funding.

DEASP Community Employment Assistant Supervisor salary scale.
