ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
Better Start: National Early Years Quality Development was established
in **Apply on the website** to work with early years? settings to
promote and develop the quality of practice, as set out S?olta, the
National Quality Framework, and Aistear, the Early Childhood
Curriculum Framework. In **Apply on the website** this service was
expanded to support the implementation of the Access and Inclusion
Model (AIM), specifically to provide access to Early Childhood Care
and Education (ECCE) Programme for children with a disability. The
Learning and Development Unit was established in **Apply on the
website** to provide continuous professional development training
content to the ELC sector. The purpose of the role is to analyse,
design, develop, implement, and evaluate the instructional
environment, learning materials, learners, and the learning process in
order to improve adult learning.
