Childhood Matters: Clerical / Administration Role


_CLERICAL / ADMINISTRATION_

The administration role within the Centre will be responsible for
financial, HR and ancillary activities.

FINANCIAL

* Proficiency in Accounts software (Currently Sage **Apply on the
website**)
* Operate a robust accounting system with strict adherence to
company policies and procedures
* Input all supplier invoices and agree to monthly statements
* Generate monthly payment file
* Furnish monthly Management accounts for all departments and
cumulative Centre reports
* Input all Sales invoices and prepare monthly statements
* Update Assets register to include purchases and disposal
* Assist with the preparation of departmental budgets and the
oversight of adherence to same
* Review Administration functions on a regular basis with the
Finance and Operations Manager

HUMAN RESOURCES

* Recruitment Process
* Garda Vetting
* Reference checks
* Complete and maintain all Personnel and HR files
* Proficiency in the Payroll software to ensure that staff and
management have correct details within system.
* Liaise with managements teams re: Contracts/Job
Description/Leave/Time Management
* Maintenance of staff data base in line with GDPR regulations

OTHER DUTIES

* Responsible for organising/recording all staff mandatory training
* Attendance at meetings and minute taking
* Cover for Reception when required
* Continued enhancement of the Administration department

to meet the overall objectives of the Organisation

_THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:_

* A minimum requirement of QQI Level 6 in Business
Management/Finance/HR or relevant discipline
* Possess excellent IT skills with experience in working with
Windows software
* Have a minimum of three years? experience in an administrative
role
