This is a key supervisory position of accountability. This role
involves close cooperation with the manager and the childcare
practitioners in relation to the overall delivery of service provided
by Little Smarties. Overall duties:
* To report to the manager.
* To guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and
caring environment.
* To adhere to the childcare act **Apply on the website** and all of
the relevant legislation and regulations.
* To adhere to good practice guidelines in relation to working.
* Provide direction and support to the other childcare practitioners
in your room.
* To encourage staff and support the manager to maintain a good
working atmosphere in the classroom.
* To be responsible for the completion of all paperwork at the After
School service.
* To be responsible for ordering all of the meals for the After
School service.
* To provide closure dates to food suppliers and parents.
* To do a daily check that the room team have completed all records
appropriately.
* To ensure the implementation of policies in accordance with the
policies of LITTLE SMARTIES.
* To design and implement a stimulating program, to plan and
implement developmentally appropriate learning activities for
children. To ensure that the program is inclusive and supports
equality and diversity.
