ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY

As part of the Early Years and Young Peoples Operations team, the
Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the effective and
efficient management of the full portfolio of Projects to support
improvements and changes to existing programmes and the introduction
of new programmes and supports with a current value of over ?**Apply

On behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability and
Youth, Pobal manage a range of funding programmes and supports for
over 4,**Apply on the website** Early Learning & Care & School Age
Services in Ireland as part of First 5 ? the whole of Government
strategy to improve the lives of babies, young children and their
families.

Our goal is to develop and maintain excellence in project management
to ensure consistency, continuity, and predictability in service
development of Early Years programmes.

The Project Administrator is a member of the unit responsible for
project administration duties to support the Project Co-Ordinators
with the development and delivery of assigned project work streams.

To provide Service Excellence to our customers and colleagues by
building a deep understanding of their needs, requirements and
expectations and consistently meeting, managing, and exceeding their
expectations in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.

The Administrator?s key tasks will include:

* Administrative support to the PMO team, meeting minutes, notes,
actions etc.
* Scheduling meetings/workshops on behalf of the PMO manager and
Co-Ordinators
* Reporting: Obtaining updates, maintaining trackers, collating and
circulating of the Project/Work stream Tracker reports.
* Maintaining project logs including action, issue and open question
logs.
* Escalating project issues and risks to the relevant programme
Co-ordinator.
* Maintaining and updating Project documentation templates in the
PMO library.
