The School Completion Programme is part of the Education Welfare
Service strand of TUSLA, Child and Family Agency. This is an
initiative which aims to have a positive impact on levels of pupil
retention in primary and post-primary schools and on the number of
pupils who successfully complete upper second level, or equivalent.

Reporting to the Management Committee, the Local Co-ordinator will be
responsible for the day-to-day management of the School Completion
Programme in 1 Second Level School, and 5 National Schools in the
Wicklow/Rathnew/Ashford/Newtownmountkennedy area of Co. Wicklow.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
E= ESSENTIAL
D= DESIRABLE

* Education to National Diploma or Degree standard in education,
youth/community work, psychology, social science/social care or
related discipline - ESSENTIAL
* A minimum of 3 years, but preferably 5 years, relevant work
experience - DESIRABLE
* Paid or voluntary, experience working with young people -
Desirable
* Access to a car and full driving licence - ESSENTIAL

* Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to liaise with a
