THE AN COS?N MISSION?is to empower those left furthest behind
through learning, leadership and enterprise.
We aim to create a brighter future for women, families and communities
across Ireland by providing programmes from access to degree level for
people of all ages and backgrounds. Some courses are provided online
and some face-to-face in our headquarters in Jobstown, Tallaght. We
have seven Early Years centres across Tallaght, Cabra and Whitehall.
An Cos?n is an inclusive and welcoming organisation, which provides
unique wraparound services to support learners on their educational
journey. These additional supports include Early Years? education
and care, IT and digital support, financial support, one-to-one
tutoring and mentoring, parenting support and a counselling service.
We are recruiting for a COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT QQI LEVEL 5 TUTOR (two
mornings a week) and an EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION TUTOR (also
two mornings a week).
The COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TUTOR will deliver the following modules:
Community Development Practice, Work Experience, Understanding
Community Development, and Working with Young People.
The EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION TUTOR will deliver the
following modules: Approaches to Early Childhood Education, Early
Childhood Education & Play, Communications and Work Experience.
An Cos?n tutors are involved in curriculum development for programme
validation and are expected to be committed to fulfilling An
Cos?n?s quality assurance and QQI standards. They are also expected
to communicate effectively with other staff members and participate in
staff team meetings.
