For?ige is the National Youth Development Organisation, which
promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of
various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the
country. For?ige is currently recruiting for the following position:
YOUTH & FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Dublin 8 Youth Engagement & Family Support Project is managed and
provided by For?ige and funded by Tusla. The two Project Workers in
this project work as part of the For?ige Dublin South team and will
be based in Dublin 8. There is currently a vacancy for one Project
Worker to work with young people aged **Apply on the website** in a
youth work setting as well as with parents and families in a support
context.
This project aims to address anti social behaviour in the community by
providing;
* Youth Work interventions and supports for young people aged **Apply
on the website** identified as at risk or requiring additional
supports
* Family Support for parents and families of vulnerable and at risk
teenagers.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS;
* Education to National Degree standard preferably in Youth /
Community Work (note: candidates with exceptional, relevant work
experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualifications)
