SOCIAL CARE MANAGER (SCMX1) FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION
RELIEF SOCIAL CARE WORKERS (RSCW)
Misty Croft Ltd. are seeking applications from highly motivated and
enthusiastic individuals to join our social care teams working with
separated children seeking asylum in our children?s residential
services.
Misty Croft Ltd. aims to assist and support young people displaced
from their country of origin who are separated from family and friends
in preparing them for onward placements.
We consider each young person we work with to be an equal and valued
member of society, whose individual needs are met through a
high-quality, needs led service by a competent, skilled, and caring
workforce.
Candidates for the SCM post are required to demonstrate clear
leadership ability and have excellent interpersonal skills. The hours
for this position are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* A recognised professional qualification in Social Care or
equivalent
* A minimum of 5 years? experience in Social Care post
qualification
* A minimum of 2 years? experience in a management role I.E. Team
leader/Deputy manager
* Proficient in IT skills

* To ensure care practices comply with relevant childcare
legislation, National Standards for Children?s Residential Centres,
and best practice.
* Lead a YP focused service
* Demonstrate kindness and compassion
* Knowledge/experience of working with people from culturally
diverse backgrounds
* Full clean driving licence
* Willingness to participate in an on-call support system and if
required provide on-site support
REPORTING TO: Director of Service, probationary period will apply
CANDIDATES FOR RSCW POSITIONS are required to demonstrate competency
in Social Care and have excellent interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* A recognised professional qualification in a Social Care
* Experience working with Young People in a residential setting
(desirable)
* ?Proficient in IT skills
