2 SPECIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS

BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

The Don?t Label it Group is a Youth Group in Ballinrobe under the
umbrella of Tac? Ballinrobe Family Resource Centre. The group
supports LGBTI+ Young people in South Mayo and their friends.

LGBTI+ FRIENDLY MAYO

VISION is help create a safe, fair and inclusive Mayo where people can
live inclusive, healthy and fulfilling lives whatever their gender
identity or expression, sexual orientation or sex characteristics.

MISSION is to help promote inclusion, protect rights and improve
quality of life for LGBTI+ citizens helping them to participate fully
in Mayo life i.e. socially, economically, culturally and politically.

The Don?t Label It Group and Tac? FRC will adopt a creative
approach to addressing the needs of our LGBTI+ citizens.

In order to Develop an LGBTI+ Friendly Mayo we have secured funding to
engage _2 SEPARATE ARTISTS _to work with Youth Groups Throughout Mayo.
This work will develop creative templates which will promote our
Welcoming and Inclusive Message.

Tac? FRC is seeking tenders from suitably qualified individuals or
organisations to design and deliver a series of workshops for young
people to explore and develop how best to develop An LGBTI+ Friendly
Mayo.
This project will be support by and will be supported by the Dept. of
Children. Equality, Disability, Ingetration and Youth.

TASKS

The successful tenderer / Artists will:-

Will consult with the Don?t Lable it Group in the Maple Youth Centre
and

* Work with youth groups in the following areas

* Ballinrobe
* Westport
* Ballyhaunis
* Claremorris
* Castlebar
* Swinford
* Belmullet
* Ballina
* Achill
* Kiltimagh

OUTPUTS

* CREATIVE WORKSHOPS ? **Apply on the website** workshops will be
delivered exploring an LGBTI+ friendly Community where templates will
be developed to create a visual LGBTI+ friendly County.
* COMPLETED TEMPLATES. A range of LGBTI+ Friendly Templates which
will be available for groups to send on to printers to have for their
own local promotional material with space for own LOGOS.
* REGULAR UPDATES ? Bi weekly updates and discussion with the
Don?t Label It Group.
* WORKBOOK. When workshops are completed a workbook will be
developed with ideas on how to make your community LGBTI+ Friendly and
all the templets will be included.

ASSESSMENT OF TENDERS RECEIVED

* The tender process will be managed by Tac? FRC Coordinator and a
steering group.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION STAGE

* Background and experience in Community Based Art / Social
Inclusion/Community Development/ / experience of working with young
people

if deemed necessary by the assessment panel.

recent pieces of relevant work must be provided. These referees may be
contacted as part of the RFQ assessment process.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Any conflict of interest involving an Artist (or Artists in the event
of a colaborative bid) must be fully disclosed to Tac? FRC. Any
registrable interest involving the Artist and Tac? FRC or employees
of Tac? FRC or their relatives must be fully disclosed in the
quotation submission or should be communicated to The Project
Coordinator immediately upon such information becoming known to the
Artists, in the event of this information only coming to their notice
after the submission of a bid and prior to the award of the contract.
The terms ?registrable interest' and 'relative' shall be interpreted
as per Section 2 of the Ethics in Public Office Act, **Apply on the
website**. Failure to disclose a conflict of interest may disqualify
an Artist or invalidate an award of contract, depending on when the
conflict of interest comes to light.

All responses to this invitation to quotation will be treated in

except insofar as is specifically required for the consideration and
evaluation of the response or as may be required under law, including
