INTRODUCTION
The Irish Traveller Movement (ITM) and its partners, the Irish Network
Against Racism (INAR) and the Traveller Justice Initiative (TJI), are
seeking proposals for a consultant to conduct a feasibility study to
explore the potential for a social enterprise that develops members of
the Traveller community, and in particular Travellers with criminal
convictions, into paid trainers of anti-racism training.
This project is funded by the Dormant Accounts Fund KickStart **Apply
on the website**, through Pobal. KickStart Fund Round 3 aims to
?support and encourage new and existing social enterprises to create
meaningful jobs for people with criminal convictions as a stepping
stone to mainstream employment?.
A Steering Committee has been formed, made up of representatives from
ITM, INAR, TJI and other relevant parties.
