BRAY AREA PARTNERSHIP IS RECRUITING FOR

TWO COMMUNITY LIAISON WORKERS
TO SUPPORT UKRAINIAN REFUGEES

REPORTING TO: Social Inclusion Programmes Coordinator

LOCATION: Bray and North Wicklow Environs

CONTRACT PERIOD:

Full-time fixed-term contract involving **Apply on the website** hours

hours of work are Monday ? Friday from 9am to 5pm per day. Depending
on the applications received and the availability of applicants, the
post may be one full-time position or it may be split part-time. Given
the nature of the position, it might be necessary to work outside the
standard hours and flexibility will be required in this regard.

MAIN JOB FUNCTION:

The Community Liaison Workers will be employed by Bray Area
Partnership with resourcing being provided through the Social
Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP). The successful
candidate will act as a support person for refugees and new
communities in the Bray and north Wicklow areas. They will coordinate
day activities and organise support and advice systems, provide advice
and guidance and will arrange for translation services as required.
They will work as part of the BAP staff team to support clients into
our range of complementary services, training and capacity-building,
and refer clients to other relevant agencies as necessary. Fluency in
Ukrainian and English is essential for this post.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Engage in outreach community development work with Refugees and New
Communities in the Bray and north Wicklow areas
* Identify the needs of the target group and supporting the
engagement of new communities to avail of supports and training
available through SICAP and other programmes /agencies as required
* Build links between target groups / communities and relevant
agencies
* Register individuals and complete the required paperwork and
consent for SICAP performance monitoring purposes
* Adhere to the guidelines of the Programme and operational
procedures within Bray Area Partnership, ensuring strict adherence to
them at all times
* Work as part of the team and contribute to the work involved in
achieving SICAP action plan projected output and outcome targets.
* Contribute to coherent and integrated quality service delivery to
the target group.
* Prepare reports on programme activities and actions as requested
by the Board, CEO and Programme Manager

holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the
post which may be assigned to them from time to time and to contribute
to the development of the post while in office.
